Control a group of devices

Controls the properties of your devices (colors, positions, strobe, dimmer and all others) with an unique screen.

Open the control pannel from the groups view

You can directly control the intensity of your group (you already created) from the main screen but you will not be able to change any other properties. To do this, you need to press the group name and the group control panel will open.
You can scroll through the group view if you have many groups to choose the right one.

Manage generics properties

The control screen of the group is divided into 2 views, the first one is used to control the generic properties of the fixtures (colors, dimmer, position, shutter), the second one is used to control the custom properties (gobos, smoke, prism...). The different controls will allow you to modify simultaneously the properties of all the devices of your group via (from left to right):

• The dimmer fader allows you to change the intensity (0 - 100%).
• The shutter fader allows you to manage the strobe frequency (0% = low frequency strobe, 95% = hight frequency strobe, 100% = light on, no strobe). It will control the shutter channel and if you have a "virtual shutter" it will control colors or dimmer channels to simulate the strobe effect.
• The color picker allows you to set the RBG, CMY channels of your devices. In case your camera uses a color wheel for example, Photon will automatically choose the color closest to your selection.
• The advanced color faders, in order from left to right :
  • The intensity of the main color (defined by the color picker). You can for example set it to 0% in case you want to light only the UV channel.
  • The white channel dimmer
  • The amber channel dimmer
  • The ultraviolet (UV) channel dimmer
• The position trackpad allows you to modify the pan/tilt (fine) of your devices in an absolute way. The abscissa represents pan (X) with left 0% and right 100%. The ordinate represents tilt (Y) with bottom 0% and up 100%.
• The "custom properties" button allows you to access the second view for non-generic properties (smoke, gobos, prism, focus...)

When you modify a group's property with Photon a or symbol indicates the last modification made to a group (which you can then save in a preset).

Be limitless with customs controls

You can control all the other more specific modes of your devices like smoke, gobos, prism, focus, rotation, ... All custom controls of a fixture in the group will be grouped here. So you can for example modify all the prims of the same type of fixture at the same time.
For easier access you can even control a custom property directly from your custom dashboard in the Live view.
